Eddie Ames,
went to heaven on August 7, 2014. Eddie was born August 25, 1928 in Caseyville, KY. He received his Civil Engineering degree from University of Kentucky and his Professional Engineering License working for the Indiana State Highway Department. Eddie previously worked for other engineering firms in Kentucky, Ohio, New York and northern Indiana.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maggie; daughters, Micah (John) Stuckey of Milton, IN, Lisa (Tom) Berger of Indianapolis, IN, and Suzanna (Scott) Kendall of Carmel, IN; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Luke, Zach, Alex, Clayton and Cortney; and nine great grandchildren.
He loved his family, the Lord and the U.S.A. all steadfastly. Eddie had the wanderlust bug, as he used to say, and traveled in 49 of the 50 states, including many, many trips out west. We all will miss him tremendously.
