Edythe Kronick Gilbert
88 years, passed away June 14, 2012. Edythe was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Samuel and Lena Kronick. She worked for State Farm Insurance for 26 years as an adjustor, where she broke ground as one of the first female auto adjustors. Edythe and her husband, the late Joe Gilbert, were long time members of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck.
She leaves to cherish her memory: sons, Andrew (Denise) and Steven (Margaret) Gilbert; and grandchildren, Adam Gilbert, Brandon Gilbert and Carah (Paul) Kennedy.
The family would like to thank the many caregivers, nurses and doctors who supported her with love and compassion.
Graveside services will be Monday, June 18, 2:00pm in Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to JFGI-Jacobs Home.
Arrangements entrusted to Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary.
