Elaine Rosen,
81 of Indianapolis passed away July 13, 2012. She was born on January 21, 1931 to Sylvia and Julius Weissman. Elaine attended the University of Cincinnati. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital for many years as a patient account representative and was a dedicated volunteer there until the time of her death.
She was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck. Elaine and her husband, the late Frank Rosen, had sung in the Congregation's choir for many years.
Elaine is survived by her loving family: children, Judi Chambers of Carmel; Bruce (Rachel) Rosen of Westfield, and Larry (Deb) Rosen of Indianapolis; brother, Howard Weissman of Hickory, NC; and granddaughter, Audrey Chambers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rosen in 2008.
A funeral service will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2 PM at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary. Burial will follow in Congregation Beth-El Zedeck's North Cemetery.
