Elba Y. Yajure

76, of Indianapolis, passed away March 2, 2019. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela to Juan Vicente Longa and Maria Yajure on March 25, 1942. Elba was a hairstylist before coming to the United States in 2002. Then, she took a position with Baker & Taylor. She was very charismatic and loved cooking, taking walks, watching "novelas", dancing and listening to music. Elba will be remembered for her deep love for her family and dedication to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also known as being a loving mother figure to all those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Guillermina; and son, Alberto Yajure. Elba is survived by her children, Yajaira Yajure, Doris (Tom) Roberts, Niurka Yajure, and Henry (Gemar) Perez Yajure; nine grandchildren, Solangel, Celestino, Kimberly, Daryl, Carlos, Katherine, Angie, Kathleen and Alejandro; and three great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Noah and Ian.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8th at 4 PM at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Rd., Zionsville. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the time of the service.
