Elmer Paul Davis,

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 6, 2017 in Brownsburg, Indiana at the age of 91.

Paul was born on September 24, 1926 to Elmer and Minnie Long Davis in Moreland, Kentucky.

During middle school a teacher recognized his artistic talent and Paul was awarded a scholarship to attend Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, an accomplishment for which he was quite proud.

Paul worked for over 40 years as an offset pressman in the Bookwalter division of Rand McNally and was an honorary lifetime member of the Graphic Communications International Union, Local #17. Paul was an avid golfer, who shot a hole-in-one at Riverside Golf Course. His crowning achievement was certainly his adoring family. Paul is survived by his six daughters: Karen Davis, Paula (Joe) Fair, Bonnie (Frederick) Landis, Becky (Gary) Nulliner, Malka Davis and Michael (Robert) Ort; his two sons, Scott (Peggy) Davis and Brian (Kelly) Davis; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brothers, James and Charles Davis and sisters, Mary Catherine Duchemin and Betty Garner. Paul was preceded by his wife, Norma Ruth Davis in 2002.
