The Cycle of nature has completed its course. The flame of a most wonderful life of 94 years has gently subsided for Esther Amar Gasparovic.
Born March 19, 1924 in Casablanca, Morocco, this raven-haired beauty immigrated to America in the early 1950's with help from her elder sister, Simone, a WWII army war bride.
Skilled as a seamstress and later a tailor, Esther quickly found employment. Her immediate successes allowed Esther to provide for her mother and young brother, who came later to this beautiful country she so deeply loved.
Esther found love and happiness later in life in her marriage to Nicholas Gasparovic who preceded her in death.
As the seventh born of 9 children, Esther leaves behind brothers, Albert Amar and Leon Amar of Florida as well as many loving nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada. This kind and gentle soul will be sorely missed.
Graveside services will be held Monday, December 10th in the Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery at 1 PM.
