F. Jai Clark

June 16, 1945 — April 23, 2021

F. Jai Clark was born on June 16, 1945 to the parents of Donald Martin Clark and Carrie Rabby Clark.  Jai has one sister, Donna Clark Robbins.  They lived in Rapid City, South Dakota.  As a little boy, his family moved to Mobile, Alabama.  Jai’s first job was a paperboy at 12 years old.  Then at the age of 14, he worked at a bait and tackle shop.  Jai graduated from Satsuma High School in 1963.  He completed one year of college at Auburn College.

Jai met his wife, Janice Young, while she was working at Denny’s restaurant.  Jai would go to Denny’s just to buy a cup of coffee and see Janice.  The two fell in love and got married February 14, 2000.  Janice had a son, Kwame Williams, and Jai had four children, Dawn, St’Jon, Jaison and Jordan.  Jai was a wonderful person to all that knew him.

His parents proceeded him in death.  He leaves his memory to his wife, Janice Clark; daughters, Dawn Clark and St’Jon Clark; sons, Jaison (Rachel), Jordan (Carleen), and Kwame (Renorah); sister, Donna (Douglas); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
