Forrest Hicks

Forrest Hicks, age 81, of Brownsburg, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2015. He was born in Crawfordsville to Eileen and Ewell Hicks on August 10, 1933. He was class president of his senior class and graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1951. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 1955.
He worked for R. R. Donnellys for over 40 years. He enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and watching sports on tv.
Forrest is survived by his three daughters, Cynthia Hicks, Liz Fitzgerald and Kathy (Mike) Smith as well as 5 grandchildren, Jacob Fitzgerald, Kathleen Fitzgerald, Katrina Sommer, Verena Sommer and Eva Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Marilyn.
A remembrance will be held at the home of Liz Fitzgerald, 7018 Stewart Ct., Indianapolis 46256, on Sunday June 7, 2015 from noon to three p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society www.lls.org.
