Forrest R. McGinnis, Jr.
Born July 30, 1939 in Indianapolis, passed peacefully after an extended, noble fight from cancer. He enjoyed a successful career as an interior designer and was featured in local as well as national publications. He studied at Herron Art Institute and received national awards for his creative works.
Forrest is survived by his partner, Mark Chestnut; sisters, Angie DuFour and Sandra Kirts; and son, Monte McGinnis.
Services will be private. Friends and family may gather for a reception on Sunday, July 21st, Olde Mill Clubhouse, 86th and Illinois, from 1-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Hooverwood Home or American Cancer Society.
