Francine Rosenberg

78 years of age, long time resident of Indianapolis, passed away on April 2, 2018.

Fran was born on September 19, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Nathan and Betty Levinson.

She was extremely active in the Indianapolis Jewish Community as a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, the Hooverwood Guild, and serving on the IHC Cemetery Committee.

Her family was the light of her life. She is survived by: husband, Gabriel J. Rosenberg, MD; daughters, Natalie (Pat) Reams, Terry (Pascal) Decaudin; son, Andrew (Debbie) Rosenberg; brother, Steven Levinson and sister, Eileen Zucker; grandchildren, Lesley Cook, Sarah Reams, Alexander, Erin-Rose, Claire and Dashal Decaudin and Ally and Jason Rosenberg.

In 1989, Gabe and Fran's youngest daughter, Laura, passed away. In her memory, the couple established two funds in her honor: one at North Central High School for a deserving art student and the other at the Jewish Community Center of Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, 6501 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260 at 12:00 PM.

The family will be sitting shiva at Broadmoor Country Club on Thursday, April 5th from 3:30 - 7 PM. There will be a minyan at 1 PM on Friday, April 6th at the Rosenberg residence. The family will be sitting from 1 - 5 PM.
