Fred Neuman Wilson,

85 of Carmel, passed away August 6, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis on February 20, 1931 to Archie Wilson and Thelma Hussion. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Western Electric after 32 years. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. He also loved to read, particularly non-fiction physics books. He had a passion for playing duplicate bridge, especially with his wife. He achieved Gold Life Master status. He was a member of the American Contract Bridge League and the Indianapolis Bridge Center.

Fred is survived by his wife, Nancy; brother, Archie (Loretta) Wilson; children, Jeff Wilson, Marieke Gilmartin (Robert) Twining, David Gilmartin and Erin (Nate) Millin; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his children, James Edward Wilson, Mary Williams, and Fred Wilson, Jr.
