Freda Plotnick Eisenberg, of Indianapolis, formerly of Philadelphia,PA died on December 10 at the age of 95.
In Philadelphia Freda was an active member of Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel. A talented knitter and avid bridge player, she and her late husband, Israel (Irv) enjoyed traveling around the world. Freda was a strong, meticulous, and stylish person who was proud of her children, Dr. Floyd Eisenberg and Rabbi Sandy Sasso (Dennis). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dr. David Sasso, Dr. Debora Herold (Brad), Dr. Rachel Greene (Stuart) and Dr. Josh Eisenberg and three great grandchildren, Darwin, Ari and Levi.
The funeral will take place at Goldsteins Rosenbergs Raphael Sacks, 6410 N. Broad, Philadelphia, on Tuesday, December 13 at 10:00 am with internment at Montefiore Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck on Thursday, December 15 at 5:30 pm.
