Frederick Sean Stover,
45 of Avon, passed away September 19, 2013. He was born in Kinston, NC on December 7, 1967 to Phyllis and Simon Stover. After receiving his Associate's degree, Fred realized his dream and became a mechanic on one of the top fuel teams. His love of drag racing led him to work with Don Prudhomme of the National Hot Rod Association. After retiring, he went on to work as a welder in the commercial tub processing industry. Fred was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed target shooting.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Kimberley Stover; aunts, Teresa (Dennis) Vick and Sally Little; uncle, Karl (Dee) Stover; many cousins; the NHRA racing community; and his welding coworkers.
A memorial service will be held at the White Lick Presbyterian Church, 2530 N. County Rd 600 E., Avon, IN 46123 on Tuesday, October 1st at 7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Racers for Christ, PO Box 1208, Gilbert, AZ 85299.
