Gail Londe Tate,
69 of Indianapolis, passed away February 22, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis to Arthur and Shirley Londe on November 8, 1945. After graduating from Broad Ripple High School, Gail attended Indiana University. Since 1980, she and her husband co-owned M.G. Tates, an award winning home accessories and stationery store. She was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and the Board of Lakes of the Crossing.
Gail is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mark Tate; son, Peter (Tweedey) Zaft of Franklin, TN; step-son, Hunter (Liz) Tate of Laguna Beach, CA; two grandchildren; and sisters, Ann (Neil) Kerwin and Lisa Londe. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Maury Zaft in 1969.
Funeral services will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, on Tuesday, February 24th at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Daisy Baker Zaft Children's Library Fund in care of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck.
The family will be sitting shiva from 4 - 7 PM at 146 Willowrun Way on Tuesday.
