82, of Zionsville, IN, he was born April 10, 1930 in Hendersonville, NC, passed away June 1, 2012.
George served in the USAF during the Korean War and retired from RCA in 1990 after 33 years of service.
George is preceded in death by wife, Barbara L. Corne; and son, Steven W. Corne. Survivors include three sisters; son, Michael L. Corne; daughter, Lisa A. Corne (Fink); three grandsons, Nicholas Corne, Lucas and Hunter Johnson; as well as a great grandson, Gabriel H. Johnson.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
