George Farnham Duzer

September 11, 1943 — September 16, 2012

George Farnham "Skip" Van Duzer,
69 of Indianapolis, passed away September 16, 2012. He was born in Sparta, NJ on September 11, 1943 to Thomas and Elizabeth Van Duzer. After graduating from Sparta High School, George served his country in the United States Army. He later worked for the Ben Hur Construction Company and more recently was a courier with Smith & Nephew.

George was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. Skip was a long time volunteer for Little League Baseball. Umpiring in Little League World Series was one of his most treasured memories.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Julie), Marc (Heidi), and Matthew (Susan) Van Duzer; six grandchildren, Zachary, Holly, Jaclyn, Bianca, Danielle, and Susan Van Duzer; brother, Thomas Earl (Connie) Van Duzer; and sister, Ruth Worrell. George was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 20th at the St. Monica Catholic Church from 10AM- 1PM with a service directly following. Interment will be private.
