Georgia Claire Mackenzie Tetmeyer

Georgia Claire Mackenzie Tetmeyer, 12, of Indianapolis, passed away September 19, 2022. She was born December 10, 2009 in Carmel and was currently in the 7th grade at Speedway Junior High School.

Georgia was a very unique and delightful soul. She was a fun and adoring sister, a talented singer and dancer, and a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, cousin and friend. She loved her cat, Flash, and all things Marvel. Georgy marched to the beat of her own drum. All of her quirks and kindness made her extremely loveable. “Ginger” was unapologetically her own dear self.

She is survived by her mother, Stefanie Straub; siblings, Ethan Straub, Sabrina Tetmeyer and Layla “Jay” Tetmeyer; grandparents, Steve Straub, Debbie Mullen, and Bill and Jane Tetmeyer; aunt, Sabrina (Bill Harting) Straub; and uncles, Jackson Tetmeyer, Anthony Ocean, and Michael (Lily) Tetmeyer.

Georgia was preceded in death by her father, William Alan Tetmeyer, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28th from 5 – 7 PM at Speedway, Christian Church, 5110 West 14th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46224 with a funeral service immediately following.
