Georgiann Mary McCormack

Georgiann Mary McCormack,

age 61, of Indianapolis, entered into eternal rest on August 17, 2022.  She was born in Hammond, Indiana on December 20, 1960 to the late George and Maryann McCormack. After graduating from Morton Senior High School, Georgiann spent her career as a warehouse manager for various companies such as Home Depot and  O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Georgiann loved nature. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers in her backyard, making sure her bird feeders were full, and sending pictures to family and friends of raccoons and deer that visited her. She enjoyed visiting the parks in the area especially Eagle Creek Park where she would walk trails, photograph wildlife, and go fishing. When it was too gloomy to head outside, Georgiann could be found watching her favorite movies including Dances with Wolves and any Minion movie. She loved to laugh and was a fighter til the end. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a sister. She is preceded in death by a sister; and loving companion, William Womack.
