Gerald Caldwell

Gerald Caldwell,

88 years of age, life time resident of Boone County passed away at his home on March 29, 2018. Gerald was born on July 21, 1929 to the late Kenneth and Grace (nee Bolin) Caldwell. He was a graduate of Thorntown High School.

Gerald retired after 38 years of service at Reynolds and Reynolds Printing in Lebanon. He was a long time member of the Thorntown Methodist Church and served as the Treasurer of the Friends Group of the Thorntown Public Library.

In 1949 Gerald wed Nina Bowen and together they raised two children, Gary (Joan) Caldwell and Jan (Pat) Caldwell Mustin.

Nina and Gerald are blessed with 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Nina, the children and grandchildren will deeply miss Gerald.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.

There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Plains Friends Church.
