Gertrude “Trudy” L. Terhune

Born January 30th 1926 in Terre Haute, IN to Glenn and Ethel Myrtle.  Graduated Shortridge High School in 1944.  Worked as a secretary at Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center until her marriage to widower William E Terhune Sr. in 1956 and adopted William E Terhune Jr.   Trudy worked as a loving mother, housewife and Book keeper/secretary for her husband’s business until his retirement.

She is survived by her three sons, William Terhune, David (Donna) Terhune and Daniel Terhune Sr.; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She loved the outdoors and nature. She also enjoyed painting and was very gifted at painting scenery.

She passed away at 93 years old on December 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Terhune Sr. in 2012.

We find great comfort in the knowledge that she is reunited with her loving husband and in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 7 P.M. with visitation from 5-7 P.M. at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd. Zionsville, IN 46077.
