Gladys Marie Burch

Gladys Marie Todd Burch, 83, passed away November 3, 2018.

Gladys was born in Kentucky and moved to Indiana as a young woman. She was a long-term employee of Indiana Bell/AT&T, retiring after almost 30 years with the company. Gladys was married to James "Jim" Burch since October 24, 1963, and they recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.

Gladys is survived by Jim; son, Darrin (Kristie) Burch; daughters, DeLynn Huff and Dawn (Dennis) Johns; brother, William (Donna) Todd; and sisters, Glenda Canada and Vivian Thompson.

Being the matriarch of her family, Gladys enjoyed spending time with her seven grandchildren - Zach Burch, Nicholas Huff, Lauren Huff, Pierce Huff, Tyler Johns, Tanner Johns and Spenser Johns; nieces and nephew - Annette (Andy) Morris, Sharon (Steve) Hollowell, Curtis (Belinda) McKnight and Crystal (Tim) Cox; and extended family and numerous friends.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, William Oscar and Dessie Marie Herrin Todd, and two infant sisters Linda and Leila Todd.

A memorial gathering for Gladys will be held Saturday, November 24th from 1 - 3 PM at Wellbrooke of Carmel.
