Gladys Eva Scorso,
85, of Sheridan, passed away January 7, 2020. She was born in Rochester, New Hampshire to Victor and Margie Blouin on December 26, 1934. After completing high school, Gladys worked as a secretary for General Electric for many years. She inherited her love of all animals from her mother and had a gentle soul. She loved crossword puzzles, visits to the zoo, restaurant dinners with family, movies, and was an avid reader.
Gladys will be remembered as a kind person who endeared herself to all who met her. She had a huge heart and would give anything she had to anyone in need. Her sarcastic east coast humor and heavy accent will never be forgotten. She is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Scott) Jackson, Deborah (Charles) Neudecker, and Stacey Scorso; step-grandsons, Charlie, Riley and Cody Neudecker; sister, Thea Winton; nephew, Jason Winton; her beloved dog, Izzy and many grand dogs. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fredrick Scorso.
Services will be held privately. Contributions can be made to the Indianapolis dog pound, Indianapolis Humane Society or Hamilton County Humane Society.
