G. Lee Metcalf

G. LEE METCALF

On September 2, 2019, Lee Metcalf, loving son, husband, father, and grandfather passed away at age 83.  He was born on November 26, 1935 in Kansas, Illinois. Lee was a Navy veteran who served on The USS Ozbourn during the Korean War. He was a Purchasing Manager at Inland Container Corp for 33 years.

Lee enjoyed golfing, fishing, writing, and being with family. He authored many books, three of which were published.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Walter; and four siblings. He is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Tracy and Chris; and grandchildren, Matthew, Caroline, Will, Autumn and Holly.

Arrangements for a family memorial service are pending. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
