Grace Adrienne Falvey,
86, of Indianapolis, passed away March 9, 2018. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Frieda Hrdlicka on September 17, 1931. Grace earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Marquette University. She was married to Charles L. Falvey on Sept. 11, 1954. After raising her family, Grace was an editor for the Hoosier State Press Association. She was a member of Mensa and enjoyed playing Bridge.
In retirement, she was a docent at the Indianapolis Art Museum, and volunteered as a tutor for OASIS. She enjoyed her time as a volunteer at the Hoosier Salon.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Robert Dill. Grace is survived by her four daughters, Annie Falvey, Joan Falvey, Ruth Falvey, and Gillian Steele; grandchildren, Justin Kuhn, Ben Kuhn, Kirsten Hyde, and Campbell Hydeand; step-children, Jennifer Dill Ovink, Elizabeth (Betsy) Holtsclaw, and Tom Dill.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, March 16th at Eddie Merlot's, 3645 E. 96th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240 at 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Indianapolis OASIS, 10800 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229, or to the donor's favorite charity.
