Gregory Dean Overdorf
57 years of age, long time Zionsville resident; passed away February 24, 2015 with his family by his side. Greg was born on September 24, 1957 in Anderson, IN to Harry and Geraldine Overdorf and was a graduate of Frankton High School.
Greg worked in Supplier Quality Assurance at Subaru of Indiana for 26 years. He was an active member of Zionsville Christian Church where he served as an Elder and was a former President of the congregation. Greg was very passionate about his work with Kairos Prison Ministry.
He is survived by his devoted family: his wife of 36 years Lori (Hypes); mother Geraldine, children Jared (Heather) and Leann (Brad) Burkenpas; grandchildren Isabella Marie, Emma Rose Overdorf and Leila Grace and Blake Michael Burkenpas; sisters Theresa (Don) Hall and Amy Overdorf and several nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Zionsville Christian Church from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zionsville Christian Church or to Kairos Prison Ministry.
