Gregory Mark Stucker

December 26, 1969 — September 23, 2021

Indianapolis

Gregory Mark Stucker, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2021, at his home in Broad Ripple.

Greg was born to Mark D. Stucker and Patricia L. Sheehan on December 26th, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from Pike High School, Greg went on to graduate from Indiana University in 1994. He was the life partner to his beloved Christin Elaine Doran.

Greg most recently accepted a position at Pella Windows, although his passion in life was undoubtedly his music. He was a true entertainer who loved to sing and play music for his family and friends. Greg was passionate about music and could be heard singing locally with the band Midnight Friars .  Although these were paid gigs, Greg didn’t perform for the money.  He considered his fellow bandmates to be his brothers, and he found his greatest joy in bringing family and friends together to have fun and enjoy their music.

Greg also loved going to concerts with his family and friends.  He would often buy concert tickets instead of material gifts for his family.  These events were so highly anticipated by everyone, and family and friends will cherish these memories the rest of their days.

Greg was a family-oriented man with the patience of a saint. Although he never had children of his own, he cared for Christin’s children as if they were his own - fiercely loving them with all his heart. He loved his new granddaughter and extended his love to his nephews and nieces as well - treasuring the time they spent together. Greg went to all their birthday parties, sporting events and graduations with pride. Following his mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis 4 years ago, Greg did everything he could to be there for her as well. Patricia was always at her happiest when Greg would take her on a drive through Eagle Creek Park, singing along together in the car.

Greg was loved by all that were fortunate enough to call him friend or family. He took that responsibility seriously and was always there to lend a hand or check in on you. He always knew how to make you smile when you needed it. For those reasons, and many more, his presence on this Earth will be deeply missed.

Greg is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Stucker; maternal grandparents, Laura and Edward Sheehan; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Sara Stucker.

Greg is survived by Christin Doran, Kevin Kimbrell (Molly), Allison Doran (Jake), Mark Stucker (Carol), Patricia Sheehan, Dawn Rose (Mark), Kristin Simmons (Dalton), Lesley Bracket (Stephen), Liliana Grace Kimbrell, Griffin Stucker, Patrick Rose, Sydney Rose, and London and Ella Brackett.
