Harry A. Case, Jr. 82, of Greenwood In. passed away October 22 in University Heights Nursing Home in Indianapolis.
Born March 7, 1930 in Silsbee, Texas to Harry Case and Alys E. (Raymond) Case. Harry, Jr. graduated from Rising Sun High School. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force and was honorably discharged.
He married Ester M. Twiggs of Warner Robins, Ga and they had 4 children, Joseph and Sue of Cumming, GA, Randall (wife Cathy), of Lafayette, IN and Robin Campbell of Walton, KY. He lived in St. Paul, IN., from 1952 until 1965. The family moved to Shelbyville, IN., until 1976. Mr. Case then moved to Lafayette, LA where he lived until he retired.
Mr. Case moved to Greenwood in 1994 where he met his life companion, Elizabeth G. Lay, who survives him. He has six grandchildren and 5 great grandsons.
Harry was a past Governor of the Moose Lodge in Shelbyville and a long time member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was a long time fan of Indiana University Basketball and the Cincinnati Reds.
Mr. Case was cremated. The family asks that donations be made to Parkinson's disease Research. Special thanks to the entire Staff at University Heights for their excellent, compassionate care.
