Helen Marie Murphy Heiob
89 years of age, lifelong resident of Indianapolis, passed away on January 26, 2016.
Helen was born on July 27, 1926 to Robert Joseph and Anne (Montgomery) Murphy. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy in Indianapolis. Helen worked for Community Hospital East, retiring after 32 years of service.
She was an avid coin collector and enjoyed spending time with her morning walking group. In her younger years, Helen was a gifted seamstress.
Helen is survived by her three children, Sally (Richard) Armstrong, Robert J. Heiob and Peggy (Jeff) Whisett; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her husband, Joseph, preceded her in death on September 7, 1986. Memorial contributions may be made to Cathedral High School or Holy Spirit School.
She will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved her.
