Helen Virginia Steele
passed away peacefully at Pyramid Point.

Helen was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and was very proud to call herself a Texan. Her family was her world and she is survived by her husband Jim Steele of Carmel, IN, son Doug Steele and his wife Julie Thaden of Toronto Canada and daughter Joy Steele of St. Louis, along with her two beloved grandchildren, Joshua and Jessie. Helen is also survived by her sister, Karen Albertson and her husband of Pleasanton, CA.

Helen is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso. She had long career working in a wide range of fields including teaching, social work and secretarial administration. Most recently, Helen worked at Kelly Services as an Educational Evaluator.

Helen had a deep love of choral music and performing. She was a longtime member of Sweet Adeline and multiple performing quartets.

Helen deeply passionate, always had a story to tell and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Rd, Zionsville, IN 46077, on Saturday, April 15th at 4 PM. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of the service.
