Hubert H. Janssen was a bridge engineer. He believed in bridges across people, cultures, countries, and religions. He was born in the Hague, the Netherlands on January 4, 1938. After graduating from college he started his travels: Liberia, Africa, then to Israel, where he met his wife, Rachelli and had his oldest daughter, Shirley, to Pakistan with his young family, then to the Netherlands where his daughter, Orly was born. The family moved to the United States in 1976. Hubert is survived by his loving wife, Rachelli, daughters Shirley (Jonathan) Latham and Orly Janssen, and his grandchildren Alex and Bekah Latham. He will be missed by his sister Loes (Henk) Sabbe and her family.
Hubert had a zest for life and a generosity of spirit. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
Due to the pandemic, traditional services will not take place. We hope to welcome you in the near future to celebrate Hubert’s life.
