Ilene Carol Snider, 77, Indianapolis, passed away the afternoon of Dec 23, 2017. She was born on February 9th, 1940 in Dearborn, Michigan, to the late Louis and Wanda Tomaszewski.
Ilene graduated from St Alphonsus High School in Dearborn, then earned her Nursing Degree from Henry Ford College. After marrying Roland "Bud" Snider in January of 1964, she and Bud moved to Warsaw, Ind.
Ilene led a very rich, fulfilling life, warmly shared with many friends and family. She loved entertaining, reading, playing bridge, traveling, and was involved with many activities, including book club, Tri-Kappa, and volunteering for numerous organizations. Ilene was a certified Addiction Counselor and her strong passion for helping others overcome substance addition helped to lead many down a successful path to recovery.
Ilene's wit, healthy sense of humor, and welcoming nature will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Roland S. Snider, her son David Snider (Julie) of Indianapolis, daughter Annie Watson (Brian) of Greenwood, Ind., grandchildren Diane, Emily, Noelle, and Nicholas, and her step-grandchildren Drew, Eve, John, Courtney, Megan, & Drew.
Ilene is preceded in death by her brother Tom Tomaszewski.

A Memorial Service will held at 11 A.M. , Dec 29th, at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN., with visitation from 9 A.M. until the time of service.
