Illanea M. Solomon Fishman
88, of Indianapolis, IN passed away February 19, 2015. She was born January 9, 1927, in Chicago, IL to John and Alice Solomon. Illanea was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward H. Fishman; and her mother, Alice Solomon Wise. Illanea worked as an event coordinator for several non-profits early in her career. Later she became an antique dealer and the owner of Illanea's Antiques and Gifts in Broad Ripple.
She is survived by her son, John Fishman (Vickie); daughter, Sandra A. Milne; sister, Jacqeline Gershman (Mort); grandchildren, Josh Fishman (Jennifer), Nicole Milne, and Erica Olivetti (Jordan); and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 27th at 2:00 PM in the IHC South Cemetery, 100 W. Kelley Street. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
