Irving Kopelson
Formerly of Canton, OH, passed away at the age of 91 on October 28, 2015 in Zionsville, IN. He was born in Canton on August 27, 1924 to Simon and Pauline Kopelson. Irving served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and enjoyed a long career with the Diebold Company of Canton as a cost estimator.
Devoted to his family, Irving was married for 51 years to his beloved wife, Janet, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Joan Shapiro of Farmington Hills, MI and Marla Tasch (Mark) of Zionsville, IN ; and four grandchildren, Erin and Zachary Shapiro and Justin and Jordan Tasch.
Graveside services will take place on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2 PM in North Lawn Cemetery with Rabbi Jonathan Adland officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Greater Indiana, 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240 or Harbor Light Hospice of Indiana, 7164 Graham Road, Suite 150, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
