Irwin Cohen
73, of Carmel, passed away on October 28, 2017. Irwin was born in Brooklyn, New York to Saul and Elizabeth Cohen. His parents lived in Rockville, Connecticut where Irwin graduated from high school in 1962. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and received his master's degree in anthropology from the University of Michigan. He worked for the State of Indiana, retiring from the Department of Workforce Development in 2008.
Irwin is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dr. Harry Cohen. He is survived by his loving wife, Harriet, son, Matthew, daughter-in-law, Jessenia Barron-Cohen, and his sister Vicki Orchier.
Memorial services and visitation will be held on Nov. 5, 2017 beginning at 2:00 PM at ARN Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077.
