Irwin H. Sacks "Irv"
86 years of age, Lifelong resident of Indianapolis, passed away on February 17, 2016.
Irv was born on August 24, 1929 to Benjamin and Freda Sacks. He was a graduate of Shortridge High School. Irv began his career working for Abel's Auto Sales. Later, he took over a business began by his father, Sacks Eagle Loan.
He was a 33 Degree Master Mason and a member of Scottish Rite and Monument Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his daughters, Elyse (Daniel) Ryan, Andrea (Kevin) Kampenga; sons, Richard "Teddy" Sacks and Steven (Theresa) Sacks; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Irv was preceded in death by his wife, Sally and his daughter, Karen Hood.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6-8:00 PM, with a Masonic service at 7:00 PM at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following in IHC North Cemetery.
