Jack F. Jackson
91, was born September 21, 1923 in Indianapolis IN and passed from this world September 24, 2014.
He graduated from Howe High School and had both bachelors and masters degrees from Butler University.
He is survived by his 2 children;4 stepchildren; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
He was a lifelong member of North United Methodist church, sitting weekly in the same pew his parents donated to the church during the depression. Jack engaged in many charitable works, most recently with the Shepard's Center. He trained as a pilot during the war. He was an educator and taught for many years in IPS and eventually was promoted to Science Consultant. He had a high sense of loyalty to those people and endeavors he committed to. His lovability and sense of humor kept him positive and a joy to others throughout his life.
A celebration of his life will occur on Saturday October 4, 2014 at 11 am at North United Methodist Church.
