Jack Lee Spohn passed away February 15th, 2018 from terminal cancer. He was born on July 30, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Upper Arlington High School. He attended Wittenberg University and graduated with a BS in Accounting/ Finance in 1962. He worked for Dow Corning in Michigan before moving to Indianapolis to work in the family mechanical contracting business (Roland M. Cotton Co). He then founded Spohn Associates, Inc. in 1976.
In addition to meeting and marrying his beautiful bride Nancy while at Wittenberg, he played linebacker for a perennial winning football program that went undefeated 1962 and won its very 1st National Championship. Jack loved golf and was blessed to play some of the finest courses around the world with his closest friends. He was a long-standing member of Highland Country Club. Jack spent his business career in the design and construction industry and built a respected rep agency/contractor business that has celebrated over 41 years of success.
Jack is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Spohn; son, Todd Spohn (Monica) and Eric Spohn (Lisa); stepson, Jim Robertson (Kim); eight grandchildren, Hannah Webb, Andrew Spohn(Carrie), Molly Spohn, James Robertson, Logan Spohn, Emma Robertson, Olivia Spohn, Abbey Spohn; and two brothers, Ron Spohn (Nancy) and Mike Spohn(Linda).
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 24th at noon at St. Luke's Methodist Church, 100 West 86th Street. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the service.
