Jack Wayne Thomason, 62, died Thursday, June 13, 2013. He was a resident of Franklin and was born in Anderson, IN on March 26, 1951.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Thomason, 78, and his nephew, Michael Wayne McTarsney, 30. Survivors include his mother, Celia Mae Thomason; children, Jasin Wayne and Amie Lynn; siblings, Keith Thomason and Kathy McTarsney; ex-wife Donna Menteer; and grandchildren, Jason, Brendon and Megan Tate.
As a veteran of the United Stated Navy, Jack toured the world; as an artist, he influenced and inspired his son; as a career carpenter, he owned a cabinet business and did freelance design; as a movie aficionado, he enjoyed science fiction and superhero genres; and as a father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend he brought joy and constant laughter to everyone in his life.
Celebration of his life will be held in private with family.
