Jacob Aaron Dietz,

28, of Zionsville, passed away July 20, 2019. He was born March 18, 1991 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Richard and Martha Dietz. He received his Master’s Degree from Ball State University where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He later worked in the commercial building industry.

Jacob had many interests. As a child, he played soccer and sports were always a part of his life. He especially liked watching the Pacers and the Colts. Jacob was also a snow skier who enjoyed the outdoors. It was only natural that he loved attending music festivals and in particular, Phish concerts. Another of Jacob’s hobbies was cooking, and he will be remembered as a foodie.

Most of all, Jacob loved his family. He leaves behind his parents; sister, Alexa Dietz; grandmother, Mary Jayne Henderson; aunts, Donna (Irwin) Grosman, Doris Henderson, Lynn (William) Maas; Uncle Jeffery (Candice) Dietz; cousins, Hannah and Michael Grosman; and his beloved cat, Ollie. Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ronald Henderson; and his paternal grandparents, Arnold and Gwen Dietz.

Visitation will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Road, on Friday, July 26th from 2 – 4 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation time.
