Jacob "Jake" Andrew Stevens

Jacob Andrew Stevens, 26, from Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on July 30th 2020 at home.

He was born on April 1st, 1994 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jacob graduated from North Central High School.  He later took earned a Culinary Arts Certificate and went to work for Starbucks Corporation for 6 years.  He was a valued employee and received many Employee of the Quarter and Leadership awards. Jacob enjoyed music, cooking, sports, target shooting, art, reading, and movies.  Most of all, he loved spending time with friends and family.

Jake had a raw talent. He could pick up on almost anything, drawing, playing pool, guitar, writing...just a talented person with a very smart wit about him. What made him special was his big heart. He always thought of others before himself and many people can attest to that.

He left this world far too soon as he was finally preparing for a career in the United States Army this next spring. He had taken up target shooting and wanted a career in the Armed Forces.

He will be missed and we have another angel watching over us.

Jacob was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Stein. He is survived by parents, Melissa and Andrew Stevens; sister, Haley Stevens; grandparents, Trudy and Bob Stevens and Larry (Dona Potts Stein) Stein; as well as a big family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was loved and will be missed. He is our angel now. God speed, Jake.

Visitation will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Rd, Zionsville, IN 46077 on Monday, August 10th from 2 - 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Corral.
