James A. Ferriell

James A. Ferriell, Jr.,
age 76, of Carmel, Indiana, peacefully went to be with his heavenly Father on June 8, 2018. Jim was born in Louisville, KY on April 18, 1942. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Trinity High School, the University of Louisville, the Indiana PGA and the Kentucky PGA. In 1978 following ten years playing on the PGA Tour, he became the Head Golf Professional to the members of Crooked Stick Golf Club, Carmel, IN.

Jim is survived by his wife, Sheryle "Sherry"; daughters, Katie (Will) Crotzer and Jenny (Richard) Birge, both of Louisville, KY.; and four grandchildren, Chris Crotzer, Jacob, Ty and Cory Birge.

Friends and family may call at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN., on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, a memorial service will follow at 1:00pm with Pastor JR Moffett (Arcadia Christian Church, Arcadia, IN) officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Indiana Golf Foundation, 2625 Hurricane Road, Franklin, IN 46131, the Crooked Stick Scholarship Fund, CICF, 615 N. Alabama Street, Ste. 119, Indianapolis, IN 46204-1498 or a charity of your choice.
