James F. Galloway, Jr. (Jeff Galloway), 54, of Carmel, IN passed away on September 21, 2013
Jeff is survived by his two children, Parker and Hunter; sisters, Wendy Galloway and Tracy (Tim) Kilburn; nephews, David and Brad; and uncle, WR Spencer II.
Jeff was loved and admired by so many people he knew and because of his job, many people he didn't even know. He lived a LOT in his 54 years, experiencing many things and going places so many of us never will. If he could and had the means he was FIRST in line to help anyone in anyway he could. He appreciated every relationship had with his family, friends and the families of his friends. He LOVED his job and was just starting a new chapter in his personal life he was so looking forward to.
But above all, he LOVED his children. He wanted so badly to be a good dad and was so proud of them. He talked a lot about the future of his kids and looking forward to the milestones to come in their lives. I know he will still be a part of those milestones, he will just be watching along side his mom and dad, grandma and grandpa and his nephew Timmy.
Jeff will be missed by so many people both in his personal and professional life. As a wrecker/recovery driver, he developed very special friendships with Carmel Police Officers, Hamilton County Sheriffs, other drivers and the list goes on. He will be missed by his family, friends, and the community.
A Memorial for Jeff will be held at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church 1402 W Main St Carmel, IN 46032 on October 4th, 2013 at 3 pm. followed by a gathering where we encourage anyone who would like to share words or stories about Jeff with everyone. Jeff will rest in peace in the columbarium at St. Christopher's along side his mother and nephew.
