James Jessee,

81 of Indianapolis, passed away November 7, 2016. He was born in Scott Co., Virginia to Willie Ray and Almiria Jessee on July 6, 1935. James served in the United States Army Reserves for 14 years and in the US Navy Reserves for 17 years. He retired from Lazy Boy furniture after 53 years.

James is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judy Flowers; children, Jennifer Jessee and Floyd (Rhonda) Jessee; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Dennis and Bonnie Jessee.

A visitation will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church, 1120 S. Arlington Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46203, on Friday, November 11th from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12th at 11 AM at Crossroads Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Kokomo, IN at Sunset Memory Gardens.
