James Roy Lewis,
63, of Noblesville, passed away July 21, 2018. He was born in Indianapolis to Charles Lewis and Anna Lewis (McCarty) on December 5, 1954. James worked as Head Maintenance at Heartland Growers in Westfield for over 20 years. He enjoyed off-roading and belonged to a Jeep club. He was a true outdoorsman who liked to spend time target shooting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. James was also a great mechanic and welder who will be remembered as a, "jack of all trades" and a master of all.
He is survived by his daughters, Cher (Chris) Davis and Jaymee (Chad) Ayers; grandchildren, Madison and Mariah Davis, and Justin and Caitlyn Ayers; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Lucas and Evelynn; brothers, Charles "Bud" (Carol) Lewis and Kenny Lewis; many nieces and nephews; many lifelong friends; and girlfriend, Jane Lemmons. James was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Jack McCarty; sisters, Doris McCarty and Carol Lewis Wright; and brother, David Lewis.
