James E. McMahon, Sr.

James Edward McMahon Sr.

82, of Cicero (formerly Naples, FL), passed away March 6, 2021.  He was born in Bronxville, New York, to the late James “Gordon” McMahon and Frances O’Brien McMahon on February 5, 1939.  Jim graduated from Providence College in Rhode Island where he was a member of Army ROTC and received a degree in business and continued on to work for the Canadian Pacific railroad until his retirement. During his time serving in the United States Army, he spent time at Ft. Devens and Ft. Eustis. Jim was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples, FL.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary Louise (McNulty) McMahon; and grandson, John Michael “Jack” McMahon.

He is survived by his sons, Jim (Dan Schamrowski) McMahon of Rancho Mirage, CA; Mike (Jonna) McMahon of Zionsville; and John (Chrissy) McMahon of Zionsville; six grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Caitlin, Samantha, Carter and Sawyer McMahon; and brother, Brien McMahon of Memphis, TN.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 11th at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd, Zionsville. Friends are welcome to visit from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Zionsville Cemetery.
