James “Jim” Michael Miracle, beloved husband, father, and Papa, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Indiana on October 25, 2021 after cheering his Indianapolis Colts to victory.
Jim was born June 23, 1951, in San Jose, California to Fredric James Miracle and Donna Larson Miracle. He graduated from Woodland High School in 1969, and California State at Chico in 1976, where he was a proud Delta Sigma Pi.
Jim had a long career in food sales. He played and loved sports, avidly cheering on everyone from his professional teams to his grandchildren near and far.
Jim will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathy Pflaum Miracle; his son, Jeffery Brock Miracle; his daughter, Amy Miracle Perlich, and his son-in-law, Nicholas Perlich. Loving grandchildren include Abigail and Tyler Miracle and Lucy and Wyatt Perlich.
Other survivors include his sister, Lynn Miracle Picco and her husband Michael; his brother, Gary Miracle and his wife, Nancy; his niece, Laura Froome Tozzi and her husband Mat, and their children Carson and Cate; his niece, Elizabeth Miracle and her fiancé Jordan Taylor; his nephew, Robert Miracle; and Jim’s first wife, Rebecca Brock.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Fredric and Donna Miracle; and his niece, Emily Picco.
In accordance with his wishes, a celebration of his life will be held in 2022 with close family in his favorite spot, Lake Almanor, California.
