James Andrew (Jim) Laidlaw, 68, went home to be with the Lord on March 8th. Jim was a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, a 5-year Navy veteran who remained a faithful patriot his whole life. He was the owner of his remodeling company Hoosier Do’r for over 25 years. He spent his life serving the Lord through ministries such as Kairos and The Great Banquet. Seeking to lead people to Christ, he built strong friendships, loved cooking great meals or giving away his unique wooden crosses that he made.
He is survived by his siblings, Dick Laidlaw, Bob Laidlaw (Judy), Mary Armstrong (Dave), Tom Laidlaw (Linda), John Laidlaw, and Betty Hardin (Kenny); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and June Laidlaw.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Jim on Saturday, April 30th at his home. It will be an open house starting at 4:00.
