Janet McGuire, 76 of Zionsville passed away at home with her family on November 26, 2012. She was born in Jamestown, Kentucky on November 5, 1936 to Arnold and Lucille Daffron. Janet was a member of Mount Runs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jerry McGuire; children, Don (Debbie) McGuire, Barbara Yarish, and James (Kathy Swilde) McGuire II; brother, Lewis Daffron; sisters, Bobby Hinton, June Loveless, and Jackie Hair; sister-in-law, Dorothy (David) Strahl; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Lou and Chuch Daffron.
Visitation will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, on Thursday, November 29th from 2-4 PM with a service immediately following. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
