Jason E. Morris, 35, of Indianapolis, passed away March 6, 2018. He was born in Katy, Texas to David Morris and Donna Lockridge on August 11, 1982. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University. He worked for Reese Wholesale. He was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed cinema movies and loved to cook and entertain.
Jason will always be remembered for his loyalty and love of his family. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Morris; children, Jack, Oliver, and Charlie Morris; parents, David and Sharon Morris and Donna Lockridge; parents-in-law, Terry and Renee Greene; siblings, Marcus (Rachel) Morris, Lindsey (TJ) Pinkerton, Laura (Eric) Zimmer, Audrey (Austin) Metzler, Megan Jones, Wyatt Lockridge, Ashley (Dave) Smith; several grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Note from Rachel:
Twenty years ago I sat down next to a blue eyed boy with an infectious smile in algebra class. I have been blessed to grow up and walk hand and hand and navigate life with that big hearted man. We made a home together and brought home three beautiful, blue eyed boys. He was my favorite person. He was a man that treasured his family and friends that became family. He was a husband, a daddy, a best friend, a big brother and a son. Our lives our richer for having had him.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 10th at the Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian St., at 2 PM, with visitation from 1 PM until the time of service.
