Jean D. Goldstein,
99, of Indianapolis, passed away January 14, 2016. She was born in Harrisburg, PA to Lewis and Marie D'Englere on January 23, 1916. She was a buyer for William H. Block Company's fine jewelry department for 12 years. Jean then went to work for Rost Jewelry Company as a buyer for 27 years, retiring in 1978. She enjoyed knitting, baking and playing on her iPad.
She was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck, Beth-El Zedeck Sisterhood, and the Hooverwood Guild. Jean was a life member of Hadassah and volunteered during WWII in the Office of Civilian Defense.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; and husband, Paul. She is survived by her children, Mel E.(Judy) Goldstein and Barbara (Herb) Frankovitz; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Monday, January 18th at 12 PM. Entombment will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hooverwood, the Hooverwood Guild, American Cancer Society, or the Indianapolis Humane Society.

Shiva will be Monday 18th at the Frankovitz residence: 8716 Lancaster Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46260 from 2:00pm till 8:00pm. Tuesday and Wednesday also at the residence 12noon till 8:00pm.
